DIGI32

DIGI32 PRO

Version 3.50 includes changes for the new ASIO functions (1,0,0,4.) (01/99)

Version 3.40 includes total new written IRQ routines. Now complete IRQ sharing for DIGIs and other PCI devices. (08/98)

Version 3.20 allows to use only one IRQ for all DIGI cards in one system. (06/98)

Version 3.11 is the first release for all 96 kHz cards (with CS8414, hardware revision 150.) It is almost complete a copy of the former version 3.01, but is adapted to the new receiver chip and the additional sample frequencies. (01/98)

Version 3.01 is probably the last one for all 48 kHz cards (with CS8412, hardware revision 192.) It includes an optimization of the time needed to start a recording (delay 1 instead of 50 samples.) (01/98)

Version 2.95 fixes a click noise on the analog output, happening every time when starting a playback, switching between the inputs or changing the Output Options. Reason: the DAC was reset without need at every action. Note: this was no problem in the NT driver 2.95. (12/97)

Version 2.90 is the first official release. As the PRO driver is based on the very stable driver of the DIGI32, the version number was raised. (10/97)

DIGI32/8

Version 2.20 includes enhanced ASIO multi card support (2/8-Channel operation.) Bugfix reset function with small buffers (crash in Rebirth.) (01/99)

Version 2.10 includes ASIO multi card support. (09/98)

Version 2.0 includes total new written IRQ routines. Now complete IRQ sharing for DIGIs and other PCI devices. ASIO support added for one card (8 channels.) (08/98)

Version 1.80 fixes a bug in Multi Device mode when recording mono and playback stereo simultaneous (produced lower pitched file.) (07/98)

Version 1.70 includes only a small enhancement regarding the pause mode with independent devices in multi device usage. (07/98)

Version 1.60 removes a restriction in the Multi Device mode: All 4 stereo devices of the DIGI32/8 now work correctly in mono mode (single channel files were played back with double speed in some situations.) Mono- and stereo modes can be used in any possible combination. Mono files will be played back over both channels of a stereo device in Multi Device mode. Additional version 1.60 allows to use only one IRQ for all DIGI cards in one system. (06/98)

Version 1.50 allows the independent usage of the 4 stereo devices in Multi Device mode with different programs. (06/98)

Version 1.40 allows to disable the safety function ('Check Input') in the settings dialog. Bugfix in Interleave mode when using the second, third or fourth stereo device with 8 channels. Bugfix wrong internal name, which in some seldom cases resulted in loading the wrong driver when using also a DIGI32. (03/98)

Version 1.30 fixed a bug in Multi Device mode (using 'Force ADAT Mode') with extreme small buffers. This caused WaveLab and Cubase VST's new automatic buffer detection to crash. (02/98)

Version 1.20 fixed an error in Interleave mode when using the 3 byte/s format (20/24 bit at various programs.) New EPROM (hardware revision 101.) (01/98)

Version 1.1 was speeded up to 1 sample (former 50 samples) delay when starting a record. Bug in Interleave mode when synchronizing record/playback (WaveLab's Live Input didn't work, Logic allowed no Full Duplex) and the format callbacks were fixed. (12/97)

Version 1.0 is the first official release. It already supported Multi Device and Channel Interleave modes. (11/97)

Windows NT Driver

Version 3.22, final release (scan of all 256 PCI busses fixed.) (09/98)

Version 3.21 is the final release candidate. Several routines for accessing the settings dialog and the card had to be written totally new (device in use error.) Scan of all 256 PCI busses added, click at automatic stop in SPDIF mode fixed. (09/98)

Version 3.17 adds restricted mono support for DIGI32/8 in Multi Device mode. Mixed mode stereo/mono not implemented. (08/98)

Version 3.14 includes total IRQ-Sharing with all other devices that support this. Bugfix buffer handling in independent but synchronized usage. Bugfix buffer handling in 24 bit mode at high system load (noise.) Click noise removed from analog output of the PRO (DAC reset too often.) Card installations order set fixed. Warning message when attempting to install a non existing card. (07/98)

Version's 3.10 user interface was totally new programmed. The settings dialog now works in real-time, no need to reload the driver anymore. Pro/Con and Emphasis are changeable even during playback. Further enhancements: the settings dialog is limited to one instance, a warning appears when trying to reload the driver in an disallowed state, the Cancel and OK button now work more logical. (05/98)

Version 3.0 includes two small bugfixes regarding 8-Channel mode with DIGI32/8: 1 sample delay between tracks 1-4 and 5-8 and an incomplete erase (resulting in a click noise when starting a playback) were fixed. New: display of the actual driver version in the settings dialog. (04/98)

Version 2.99 supports Multi Device and Channel Interleave modes (all 8-Channel modes of the DIGI32/8.) Optimization of the time needed to start a recording (delay 1 instead of 50 samples.) (01/98)

Version 2.97 includes a bugfix for the display of 96 kHz sf. Changes in oemsetup.inf and bugfix in the driver resulted in a much more stable installation routine. (12/97)

Version 2.95 already supports the next generation of the DIGI32 PRO (up to 96 kHz), plus the DIGI32/8 in stereo mode. (11/97)

Version 2.90 now supports the DIGI32 PRO. Little tool added for direct access to the settings dialog. (09/97)

Version 2.50 is able to handle up to three cards at once. New: Digi32 In / Digi32 Out as device name (instead of DIF Transmitter), automatic reset when stopping record or playback in Input mode, (switches back to stereo, 24 bit and the actual sample frequency), direct 8 bit support, 3D design of the settings dialog. (07/97)

Version 1.50 is the first official release. 24 bit and Full Duplex using NT: a dream comes true! (05/97)
