1. New Windows driver for HDSP system (Top)

The new driver version 2.1 of the Hammerfall DSP system can be downloaded from our website, for both Win 9x and W2k/XP. This driver adds a clever auto record monitoring mode for Windows MME, while it is still possible to use TotalMix with all its advantages. Also supported is ZLM hardware punch monitoring, as present in Samplitude, Sequoia and SAWStudio.

The new functions are described in detail in the latest updated manuals for Digiface and Multiface, which are also available on our website.

As always the changes, fixes and enhancements are documented within the driver archive (readme.txt) and on our website (section Tech Info, Driver Updates.)

2. New Mac driver for HDSP system (Top)

In case you missed it: the Mac driver 2.01 for the Hammerfall DSP system can be downloaded from our website. After installation of the new driver a flash update has to be performed. Download the special Flash Update Tool and follow the instructions on the screen.

This driver fixes incompatibility to the Mac Titanium, as reported by several users, adds Digital Performer compatibility and several other new features.

As always the changes, fixes and enhancements are documented within the driver archive (readme.txt) and on our website (section Tech Info, Driver Updates.)

3. New Accessories section on our website (Top)

We added a new section to our website: Accessories. Here you will find part numbers of original RME parts. But Accessories also lists useful additions to your existing RME system, for example Firewire cable in up to 33 ft (10m) length, a Repeater to double the cable length between interface and I/O box, or a 19" rack holder for Digiface/Multiface. Have a look!

4. German web server (Top)

Our German webserver (rme-audio.de), hosted by Netbeat, was offline for 2.5 weeks. Now that it is online again we are unable to update it. We already have taken the first steps to change to a more professional provider, but this will need some time, especially because of Christmas/New Years.

Until the situation has changed please note that the latest version of our website is ONLY available on the US server, www.rme-audio.com.
