Hammerfall DSP. The further developed successor of the worldwide successfully digital card series is even more flexible, powerful and efficient. RME offers HDSP systems in two versions: External solutions, like Multiface and Digiface, and internal solutions. With high-end cards, like the HDSPe MADI FX with 390 channels or flexible allround cards, like the HDSPe AIO, RME's HDSPe series provides the perfect partner in any case.
HDSPe MADI FX
390-Channel 192 kHz Triple MADI PCI Express card
The HDSPe MADI FX marks a new milestone both in the history of audio interface cards in the past two decades and within the long series of outstanding RME devices. Never before has such a high-performance multi-channel audio system existed.
The HDSPe MADI FX features 390 audio channels! Three MADI I/Os - two optical and one coaxial - are accompanied by one AES/EBU I/O and one analog monitoring output. To complete the feature set, a Word Clock connection and four MIDI I/Os were added. The complete technology and connectivity are highly integrated into the smallest possible amount of space - typical for RME. Only one PCIe slot is required on the motherboard, plus one free slot opening on the case.

The card offers 2 x 64 channels of 24-bit audio at a sample rate of up to 48 kHz and 32 channels at up to 192 kHz. HDSPe MADI is compatible to all common MADI formats. The HDSPe AES is a powerful PCI card with AES/EBU interfaces. It provides eight AES inputs (16 channels) and eight AES outputs (16 channels) at 192 kHz sample rate. The card is also equipped with two MIDI I/O ports, word clock I/O, and can be used with the optional TCO module for synchronization to LTC and video. HDSP TCO
Optional Time Code Module
The optionale extension for chosen HDSP PCI- and PCI Express cards. The little module provides the mother card with a Word Clock input and offers synchronization to LTC, Video and VITC. With the help of SteadyClock the module extracts not only absolute positioning data, but also a very low-jitter Word Clock. The TCO guarantees the perfect connection and a sample accurate timecode synchronization to audio and video signals.

Consisting of the HDSPe ExpressCard MADI and a small breakout box, the MADIface offers full MADI power: 64 channels input and 64 channels output, up to 192 kHz sample rate, in MADI embedded MIDI transmission, complete TotalMix that is even remote controllable and has all features of the 'bigger' HDSPe MADI, as well as lowest latency and CPU-load. To make the usage as comfortable as possible, the power for the breakout box is provided directly by the ExpressCard, so no external power supply is required.

The Multiface II is not only multi because of the many different interface formats supported, but also multi-Channel! The small box using half the space of a 19" rack includes outstanding power and extensive features. Based on RME's award-winning Hammerfall technology and equipped with the latest circuit designs of the Fireface 800, the Multiface II offers ADAT optical I/O, SPDIF I/O, MIDI I/O, word clock I/O and a separate hi-power monitor output. On top we provide 8 analog inputs and outputs, balanced and 24-Bit/96kHz, of course. All this can be used on laptops as well as on desktop computers with 'zero cpu load' and low latency!
