RME's Mac driver for the Hammerfall DSP offers full ASIO performance. It's based on the Hamerfall driver and includes all its famous features, from an easy to explore settings dialog up to sample-accurate sync via ASIO 2. Since driver version 2.10 OMS/MIDI is also supported.
The Hammerfall DSP driver is a pure ASIO 2.0 driver with unprecedented performance, thanks to DBU (Dynamic Bus Utilization.) The Hammerfall DSP can be configured through its own Settings dialog. All signal routing and mixing is handled by TotalMix, the stunning digital real-time mixer of the HDSP series.
Driver version 2.21 is the latest release. (02/25/2003)

The picture to the right shows the settings
dialog of the Digiface. The clear structured, easy to understand
window plus the unique informative status windows for input signal,
clock mode, sample rate and time code make your work with Hammerfall
DSP System to a real pleasure. With a simple mouse click you
gain access to the full power of your system.
When working with several digital sources it is not only necessary to know
if these are properly locked, but also if they are totally synchronized. RME's
exclusive SyncCheck checks all input signals and displays their actual
state, and thanks to our new Intelligent Clock Control concept you have
all clocks and states under control - with ease. |

ASIO 2.0 Support
The Hammerfall DSP offers 'ASIO Direct Monitoring' in perfection. Routing, Panorama and Volume are performed directly in hardware. Thanks to TotalMix there is nearly no limit: all inputs and all playback channels can be mixed to all outputs, even multiple times!
